There are 26 arrests and 2 residence orders carried out by the Turin police in the provinces of Turin, Milan, Varese, Alessandria, Napoli and Asti, on the basis of an order issued by the investigating judge of Turin, as part of an investigation coordinated by the Turin DDA.
The precautionary measure concerned 28 people, seriously suspected, to varying degrees, of criminal association aimed at international drug trafficking, multiple sales of large quantities of narcotics (hashish, marijuana and cocaine), violation of the law on weapons, money laundering, reinvestment of criminal proceeds, robbery and receiving stolen goods.
The association was therefore also charged with the aggravating circumstance of the number of people exceeding ten and the availability of weapons. The precautionary measures adopted by the investigating judge consisted of 20 prison detentions, 6 house arrests and 2 residence obligations. At the same time as the execution of the precautionary measures, numerous house searches were carried out, also aimed at the execution of precautionary measures of a real nature.
