In Palma Campania, in the province of Naples, a carousel collapses: moments of terror for those present who saw the structure crash to the ground. The carousel is made up of the so-called “flying seats”, which are usually pushed into the air to allow passengers to catch a ribbon. The incident occurred late in the evening in the parking area of Via Querce in Palma Campania where the crash occurred.
Il crollo caused several injuries, including children, with grazed knees and elbows. There were also some fractures to the joints. A parent present during the collapse commented on the incident on a Facebook group: " ..an Indian girl was under the chairs on the floor, with the other parents, scene that makes you feel really bad, in fact it leaves a mark on you"
There is still no official information regarding the causes that led to the collapse of the carousel. On site there are Carabinieri, Municipal Police and firefighters to establish dynamics and possible responsibilities that caused the collapse.
