Tragedy narrowly avoided in Aversa, 13-year-old stabbed near carotid artery: wounds inflicted on cheeks and one could have been fatal.
The Carabinieri are on the trail of the attackers, most likely minors, who on Saturday night in the midst of the nightlife of Aversa stabbed and almost killed a 13-year-old boy originally from TDucenta rentola.
The punishment, in truth, was intended for a friend of his, who had argued with another boy shortly before. It happened around 23 pm on Saturday, near the Cimarosa Cinema-Theatre, near the Arzillo sandwich shop.
Two young men argue loudly. Then they split up but one of them returns with a gang of teenagers after ten minutes, armed with baseball bats and a knife. The thirteen-year-old is targeted and beaten bloody, but he is not at fault. The friends escape.
The ambulances arrive. The boy loses a lot of blood and is taken to the Moscati hospital in Aversa. His face will be disfigured by the stab wounds inflicted on his cheeks and a stab wound a few centimeters from the carotid artery. It could have been fatal.
I police They have taken images from public and private cameras in the area and may have already identified those responsible.
