Campania, agreement between Eav and unions on smart working but Or.SA does not sign.
Eav, a company that deals with rail and road transport in several municipalities in Campania, and the trade unions represented at company level (with the exception of Orsa) have signed an agreement that introduces smart working as an alternative form of work performance. The signing of the agreement, which took place on August 24, was made public today.
“The opportunity was seized – explains the Autonomous Volturno Body in a note – to capitalize on the experience gained during the pandemic, facilitating and accelerating the process of changing the methods and mentality in carrying out work, allowing for a greater balance between workers' work and personal needs".
According to Eav "smart working has contributed to improving the quality of personal life of workers, generating a potential investment in terms of improving the corporate climate and the resulting performance. This agreement, together with that of welfare and the performance bonus, represents a further step towards an industrial relations system centered on the economic sustainability of the company and on the worker understood as a person, whose overall well-being is considered a primary good". These are the main points of the agreement: up to three days a week of smart working are foreseen, one of which is mandatory; participation is voluntary, subject to evaluation by the relevant manager; the agreement is individual and for a fixed term and can be revoked; overtime, business trips and on-call days are excluded from smart working days. A disconnection period is also foreseen, which runs from 19:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
