Avellino, falls from bike: 62-year-old woman in very serious condition. Transported by helicopter ambulance to Avellino hospital

A 62-year-old Russian woman is in desperate conditions after falling from her bicycle while she was riding on a provincial road in Alta Irpinia.

The accident occurred shortly after seven between Cairano, where the woman lives, and Andretta. According to an initial reconstruction, the fall occurred on a steep downhill stretch. The woman lost control and after crashing into a low wall she was thrown several meters away, suffering various fractures and a serious head injury.

She was transported by helicopter ambulance to the hospital in Avellino. According to the health workers, her conditions are very serious.
