Beach resort closed in Baia Verde due to lack of authorizations.
The measure was adopted by the SUAP office of the Municipality of Castel Volturno following an investigation conducted by the NAS Carabinieri of Caserta. The report sent by the Carabinieri to the Municipality highlighted that the beach, located in Baia Verde, lacked the prior and mandatory Certified Notification of Commencement of Activity (Scia).
Furthermore, it was ascertained that the food and beverage service business that was carried out at the beach establishment had also been started without the SCIA.

The SUAP office has determined that the owner, even if in possession of a valid maritime concession for tourism purposes, must electronically submit the SCIA (Consent for the Authorization of Tourism) to the local SUAP to start a business. The same applies to food and beverage service businesses.
The Municipality, therefore, has ascertained the carrying out of two illegal activities for which, in addition to the administrative pecuniary sanctions imposed with the reports issued by the NAS, the accessory sanction of closing the two activities follows as a due act.
