Tamid strong international tensions over gas supplies and the skyrocketing price of futures, which today reached 315 euros in trading in Amsterdam, renewable sources are becoming a possible alternative to dependence on Russian supplies.
With the publication of the call for proposals for the 'Agrisolar Park' measure, for the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of stables and farms, the possibility of producing energy from the sun opens up for agricultural and livestock businesses. The allocation is 1,5 billion euros, within the Pnrr. The final goal: the installation of photovoltaic panels with a new generation capacity of 375.000 Kw from solar energy by June 30, 2026.
The measure supports investments in structures in the agricultural, livestock and agro-industrial sector in order to remove and dispose of existing roofs and build new insulated roofs, create automated ventilation and cooling systems and install intelligent management systems for flows, accumulators and especially solar panels. In this perspective, the call for proposals allows the installation of photovoltaic panels on a total surface area of 4,3 million square meters for 0,43 GigaWatt on the roofs of agricultural and livestock buildings but without consuming fertile land.
According to an estimate by Coldiretti, approximately 20 stables and farms could benefit from the measure. The resources are earmarked for the implementation of interventions in the primary agricultural production sector for a quota of 1,2 billion euros, while two quotas of 150 million euros are earmarked respectively for the implementation of interventions in the sector of the transformation of agricultural products into agricultural ones and for the implementation of interventions in the sector of the transformation of agricultural products into non-agricultural ones.
An amount equal to at least 40% of the total resources is intended to finance projects to be carried out in the Regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily. Applications for access to incentives must be submitted through the portal made available by Gestore dei Servizi Energetici SpA, accessible from the Customer Area. Proposals can be uploaded from 12:27 on 12 September until 27:2022 on XNUMX October XNUMX. The incentives will be granted through a one-stop procedure until the available resources are exhausted.
