UA minor of foreign origins, hidden in a truck, was saved by officers of the Flying Squad of the Benevento Police Headquarters yesterday evening.
the boy was traveling inside a lorry, driven by a foreigner, coming from Brindisi. According to what has been learned, it was a motorist who noticed the presence of the young man, noticing a hand coming out of the tarpaulin covering the trailer of the heavy vehicle.
The vehicle was stopped along the Benevento ring road. After rescuing the minor, the truck was taken to the Police Headquarters to carry out further searches with the collaboration of the firefighters.
Investigations are underway to shed light on the incident. The minor was instead visited by 118 doctors to ascertain his health conditions and after being fed he was entrusted to social services.
