Minori, the capital of panettone for one night. 27 master leaveners are coming to the Amalfi Coast. Tuesday, August 30th in the City of Taste.
“La Notte del Panettone by the sea” – starting Tuesday 30 August – 19 pm – Minori. In the evening also the pyromusical show on the sea.

Antonio Porpora (Production Director of Gusta Minori): “The Night of Panettone is not a festival but a narration of what is true Italian art in the world. Therefore, the evening of August 30 will be of great quality as it happened in 2021. And it will also represent a sort of preview of the twenty-sixth edition of Gusta Minori. On September 2 for the 25+1 edition of Gusta Minori, we will open the Vie dell'Arte with four scenic paintings in four different points of the city. Great actors, great texts, music. But we will also open the Vie del Gusto on the Lungomare and with traditional menus in the restaurants”.
“Panettone in Riva al Mare is an event that the city of Minori holds dear. Last year we recorded a record turnout, which we hope to repeat this year, demonstrating that panettone is also very popular in the summer and is also much-loved in the South”. This was stated by Sal De Riso, President of the Academy of Italian Pastry Chefs.
So everything is ready on the Amalfi Coast, in Minori, City of Taste, where on August 30th 27 highly renowned master leaveners will arrive.

The event is sponsored by the Campania Region, the Municipality of Minori, Gusta Minori and is supported by companies of raw materials, equipment and accessories that have always worked to promote artisan excellence.
Organized by the Accademia dei Maestri del Lievito Madre, of which Claudio Gatti is president, with the active collaboration of the master Sal De Riso, who is one of the founding members, its aim is to let all the visitors of the coastal town taste the panettoni of many masters: from the great classics to the latest novelties.
On Tuesday, from all over Italy, highly renowned leavening masters will arrive: Marco Avidano, Mario Bacilieri, Alessandro Bertuzzi, Maurizio Bonanomi, Fabrizio Camplone, Emanuele Cantolacqua Ripani, Roberto Comi, Davide Dall'Omo, Sal De Riso, Denis Dianin, Aniello DiCaprio, Angelo Di Masso, Salvatore Gabbiano, Claudio Gatti, Giorgia Grillo, Daniele Lorenzetti, Giuseppe Mascolo, Grazia Mazzali, Luca Montersino, Oscar Pagani, Giuseppe Pepe, Anna Sartori, Alessandro Slama, Valter Tagliazucchi, Carmen Vecchione, Andrea Zino and Patrick Zanesi.

"It is important to underline that the Notte del Panettone is not a festival but a narration of what is true Italian art in the world. And it will also represent a sort of preview of the twenty-sixth edition of Gusta Minori – stated Antonio Porpora, Production Director of Gusta Minori – a festival that brings together art, environmental, naturalistic, cultural heritage and cuisine.
Gusta Minori is not a festival but it is storytelling, therefore narration of products, of life, of the past, of the present, of the very history of this territory whose landscape is a UNESCO heritage site. On August 31st we will inaugurate the markets on the seafront overlooking the Amalfi Coast but from September 2nd we will open Le Vie dell'Arte and Le Vie del Gusto. This year the entrances will be free. In fact, even in the presentation logo we did not write the number 26 but we wrote 25 + 1 because this is the edition that marks the return to the traditional format of Gusta Minori with the involvement of all of Minori. For example, Le Vie dell'Arte will see the performance of 4 scenes in 4 different points of the Borgo. We will truly have a Diffused Theater with an atmosphere that will involve everyone.
Each scene will last 30 minutes. Once the first is over, the group will be able to move on to the second, then the third, then the fourth, but at the same time we will also have a fifth scene that will be itinerant around the village. Unpublished texts, unpublished music with two great directors: Lucia Amato who curated some scenes, Gerardo Buonocore who curated others and is also Artistic Director and Author of Gusta Minori. The theme of the Vie dell'Arte for the twenty-sixth edition of Gusta Minori will be “Femmene e Mare” therefore a tribute to women and also to those carriers who in ancient times loaded the products on their heads to bring them down from the hills of the Coast. However, the theme also touches on the past, the present of the female figure in the world. The Vie del Gusto will be on the seafront with tastings of local production and in the restaurants menus with always territorial tradition”.
