Festival Ville Vesuviane returns to Ercolano and Torre del Greco. Kicking off on September 2nd with the national premiere of “La vita è un sogno”.
“Progetto Settecento” will also be the theme this year of the Festival delle Ville Vesuviane, scheduled from 2 to 25 September in the splendid XNUMXth century villas of the Vesuvian area.
The festival will open with the national premiere of “La vita è un sogno” by Pedro Calderon de la Barca, with Mariano Rigillo and directed by Giuseppe Dipasquale, artistic director of the Festival as well as an Italian director and playwright and former artistic director of the Must Musco Teatro in Catania and the Teatro Stabile in Catania.
The event, now in its thirty-third edition and promoted by the Fondazione Ente Ville Vesuviane chaired by Gianluca Del Mastro, with the contribution of the Campania Region with Scabec and the Ministry of Culture, will take place between Torre del Greco and Ercolano.
There will be four national world premieres that will debut during the festival: in addition to “La vita è un sogno”, the program includes Raffaello Converso in “L'Opera da tavolo tra Kurt Viviani e Raffaele Weill”, with arrangements and orchestrations by Roberto De Simone; “Cosi' e' (se vi pare)” by Luigi Pirandello with Eros Pagni and directed by Luca De Fusco, and “Caro Pier Paolo” by Dacia Maraini with Anna Teresa Rossini.
