A 56-year-old man from San Rufo, in the province of Salerno, was hit last night in Padula near the Sant'Alfonso church. The 56-year-old is hospitalized in the intensive care unit at the "Luigi Curto" hospital in Polla.

According to hospital sources, he is in very serious conditions: the prognosis is reserved. He was hit by a Mercedes driven by a woman who immediately stopped and gave first aid to the 56-year-old. The 118 paramedics and the Carabinieri of the Sala Consilina Company intervened on the scene.
