Bad weather in Irpinia. A violent one hailstorm which occurred late yesterday afternoon has destroyed vineyards e olive groves di fifty companies.
The violent downpour has hit the area between the Irpinia municipalities of Castelfranci e Guardia Lombardi, where productions have been irremediably compromised.
An extraordinary meeting called by the members took place this morning mayors of the affected municipalities, extended to Coldiretti and to the vice president of the regional agriculture commission, Maurice Petracca, to request recognition of state of calamity. From the first checks the damage they would amount to hundreds of thousands of euros.
