Naples. A boat worth over 200 thousand euros stolen in Tuscany three days ago was found at Molosiglio.
The Operations Room of the Provincial Command of Naples, where the public utility number is constantly active 117, reported the presence of an apparently abandoned vessel in the body of water of the Harbour of the Neapolitan capital.
The timely intervention of a patrol boat, already engaged in an economic-financial police service, made it possible to ascertain that the powerful dinghy, approximately 10 metres long with two outboard motors, showed clear signs of tampering with the ignition system.
Subsequent investigations, carried out with the help of the databases used by the Corps, confirmed that the vessel, worth over 200 thousand Euros, had been stolen two days earlier in the Municipality of Porto Azzurro, Elba island.
The operation in question is part of the broader Maritime Police activity entrusted, exclusively, to the naval air component of the Teaching staff, which ensures public order and safety services by constituting a garrison of legality for all sea users.
