Carabinieri carry out widespread checks in the Vomero, Capodimonte and Arenella districts.
The military of the local company identified 126 people and searched 47 vehicles. Two people were arrested for evasion: both under house arrest, they were caught on the street without any authorization. One of these, a 23-year-old from via Janfolla, had even tampered with the electronic bracelet. They are now awaiting trial.
Nine people reported at large. A man from 69 of the Spanish Quarters was checked on the street aboard his vehicle. In the car a series of keys, electronic remote controls of various cars and a control unit with logos of various car manufacturers.
He will have to answer for receiving stolen goods. There is no shortage of weapons. Three people, one of them just 18 years old, were reported for hiding knives and knuckledusters on their person. Three illegal parking attendants were found in the streets of the movida. A twenty-seven-year-old of Somali origin was reported because during a check he gave false personal details to the military.
A 78-year-old man was also reported to the judicial authorities for having on him two doses of cocaine, six of crack and 55 euros in cash believed to be illicit proceeds.
