Naples. Police checks continue in the “movida” areas.
Yesterday, as part of the services arranged by the Naples Police Headquarters in the “movida” areas, the officers of the San Ferdinando, Montecalvario and Vomero Police Stations, the finance officers of the Provincial Command of Naples and personnel of the autonomous service of the Local Police of the Municipality of Naples, with the support of the Mobile Unit of Naples, carried out checks in the Chiaia district, the Spanish Quarters and Vomero.
During the operation, the operators in via Chiaia, Riviera di Chiaia, dei Mille, in piazza Vittoria, Amendola, San Pasquale a Chiaia, in Galleria Umberto I and in corso Vittorio Emanuele, identified 37 people, 2 of whom had previous police records, and checked 23 vehicles.
While in the Spanish Quarters, in via Toledo and in piazza Trieste e Trento the officers identified 43 people, checked 3 commercial establishments, contested 11 violations of the Highway Code for illegal parking and removed 10 vehicles in illegal parking areas.
Furthermore, the police officers of the Vomero Police Station in San Martino, in the squares Vanvitelli, Medaglie D'Oro, Muzii, Fanzago, and in the streets Giordano, Scarlatti, Falcone and Stanzione have identified 42 people, 8 of whom with police history, contested 2 violations of the Highway Code for parking prohibition with simultaneous removal of vehicles, and checked 3 commercial establishments that were fined for illegal occupation of public land, irregularities on the chimney and failure to comply with the provisions on separate waste collection.
