Napoli. On Sunday morning, the officers of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, during a territorial control service, intervened in Corso Umberto following the report of a snatch theft.
The police officers, who arrived on the scene, were approached by a Polish tourist who said she had been surprised from behind by a scooter whose driver snatched her bag and then fled.
At that moment the Falcons of the Flying Squad arrived and, thanks to the descriptions provided by the victim, the video surveillance images of a nearby business and after a brief info-investigative activity, on Wednesday they intercepted and blocked, in vico S. Anna a Porta Capuana, the alleged robber on board the same scooter; furthermore, they ascertained that the man was still wearing the same items of clothing corresponding to those used to commit the crime.
A 34-year-old Russian with a criminal record was reported for snatching the scooter while the scooter was seized.
