Selling them on an improvised stall in the Portici local market was a local married couple. Both already known to the police, they stood alongside the authorized vendors offering cigarettes without state monopoly seals at competitive prices.
The Carabinieri of the Portici station put an end to this activity, reported the two for smuggling foreign manufactured tobacco and seized the entire batch of “blondes”.
