Naples, robbery of a cell phone: young Moroccan with irregular police record on national territory chased and arrested.
Yesterday afternoon, officers from the General Prevention Office, during their territorial control service, while passing through Piazza della Repubblica, heard the screams of a person and noticed a man who, at the sight of them, began to run in the direction of Via Dohrn.
The police, with the support of a patrol car from the San Ferdinando Police Station, reached him and, not without difficulty and after a fight, stopped him near the Diaz roundabout.
At that moment, the operators were approached by the victim who said that the blocked man had robbed him of his cell phone in Piazzale Tecchio and that he had followed him to Piazza della Repubblica where he then asked the officers for help.
ZN, a 25-year-old Moroccan with a history of irregular police activity on the national territory, was arrested for robbery, assault and resisting a public official while the telephone was returned to the victim.
