Naples, French tourist robbed on Corso Umberto I: 2 Nigerians with police records arrested.
Last night, during their territorial control service, the officers of the Decumani Police Station, while passing through Corso Umberto I, heard the screams of a man calling for help and reached him at the corner of Via Seggio del Popolo, where they noticed that he was being held by two people.
The operators stopped the attackers, ascertaining that the victim, a French tourist, had been approached by two men shortly before, while he was walking along the street, one of whom had held him back while the other had stolen his mobile phone.
SN, 36, and MI, 28, with previous police records, both Nigerians and illegal immigrants in the country, were arrested for aggravated robbery while the cell phone was returned to its owner.
