The Police arrested a 36-year-old Bangladeshi for attempted aggravated murder. Last night, officers from the San Giuseppe Vesuviano Police Station, during their territorial control service, on orders from the Operations Center, intervened in Via XX Settembre following a report of an injured person.
The police, arriving on the scene, found a person who indicated the apartment where, shortly before, there had been an argument between two men, one of whom, injured, was still lying on the sofa.
Furthermore, the victim of the attack said that shortly before, after having argued with one of his roommates, the latter had taken a cleaver and a knife from a kitchen drawer and then hit him in various parts of the body.
At that moment, the police saw a man coming down the stairs of the building and, thanks to the descriptions provided by the victim and some of the roommates, they recognized him as AMRJ, a 36-year-old Bangladeshi with a police record and an illegal immigrant on the national territory, and arrested him for attempted aggravated murder.
