CAMPANIA COMIX
The last day of the 2023th edition of the Summer Festival of the Teatro Arbostella Gino Esposito will also see a special moment. In fact, by the will of Arturo Esposito and Imma Caracciuolo, the 90 edition of “Campania Comix” will be presented, the amateur comic theater competition, created by Gino Esposito in the XNUMXs with the aim of highlighting regional amateur companies, who came to Salerno to present their shows and then submitted to the judgment of a jury of journalists and experts in the sector who at the end assigned the “Campania Comix” prizes.
“The event will continue to be called Campania Comix,– Esposito and Caracciuolo explain – but the awards we will give will be in the name of Gino Esposito, who has always fought to ensure that amateur theater had the right space and recognition. The Gino Esposito awards will start this year. In fact, we have decided to award six awards to 6 people, 6 friends who have collaborated or had a particularly special bond with Gino.
The awards will go to Claudio Tortora, Ugo Piastrella, Gaetano Troiano and Francesco Granozi, who with Gino have organized events, opened theaters, put on shows and much more. Then we will give recognition to the journalist Agnese Ambrosio, godmother of the Teatro Arbostella since the day of its opening and to the journalist Monica De Santis, who for a long time took care of the press office of the reviews created by Gino Esposito”.
