swindle da 168mila euros for the services provided by Socially Useful Workers of the Common di Casal di Principe. This is the hypothesis of the Demand di Napoli Nord which he has set his sights on 33 municipal employees against whom the Carabinieri of the operational section of the Casal di Principe Company executed a search and precautionary seizure order – ordered by the investigating judge of Naples North – of the sum believed to be the object of the fraud.
The investigative activity directed by the Prosecutor's Office of Naples North concerned the management of Socially Useful Workers (LSU) by some members of the Municipal Administration, who are alleged to be responsible for the anomalous planning and registration of the service and for the illicit wages paid to them. During the investigation, it was ascertained that the Administration had illegitimately paid sums of money for hours of work never performed, which were communicated by the workers themselves to their referents without effective control of both their presence and the services rendered.
The workers were also employed without the expected planning of activities. Among the workers investigated, there is a subject who, despite producing a medical certificate of illness, carried out work in a bar in Casal di Principe and another who, despite being retired, continued to provide service in the Municipal Offices, receiving the relative compensation.
The charges are, to varying degrees, aggravated fraud against the State, aggravated fraud for obtaining public funds, false certifications for public administration employees and abuse of office.
