Hope, vaccine against Omicron is coming. Maybe tomorrow the green light from EMA. Availability in Italy from mid-September.

“Tomorrow the European Medicines Agency could give the first green light to vaccines adapted to the Omicron variant. The indication of the Italian Medicines Agency will then follow. We expect to have the availability of new updated vaccines by mid-September”.

This was stated by the Minister of Health, and candidate for the Pd-Italia Democratica e Progressista list in Naples, Roberto Speranza, on the microphones of 'The breakfast club', a Radio Capital program.

“I strongly urge all people over 60 and the frail of all ages to have a second booster. We must continue to protect the weakest”he concluded.
