Seven days on a Vespa to tell the story of seven villages in Cilento

Seven giorni in Wasp around the Cilento per raccontare le tradizioni, la cucina, la lentezza e i volti di sette villages diversi dell’entroterra del Parco.

«Being tourists and promoters of the beauties of one's own land is a mission that belongs to everyone in Cilento, we just have to become aware of how important it is to make the lifestyle of the Cilento people known to the world, their customs, their dialect, their traditions, their slowness, in short, all the pieces that make up this wonderful puzzle. – says Martino -. I started a few years ago with the column 'Stories' where - through video reports - I tell about the artisans and young people who remained. Then I felt the need to tell about the places, especially the lesser-known ones, which very often hold the most unexplored and incredible beauties – continues the journalist -. Now I want to put everything together and go on a week-long 'full immersion'. I'll collect video and photographic material and then I'll start a series of episodes".

The stages have not yet been made known, the reason is clear: "It will be a participatory tour - Martino reveals - through social media I will ask users who follow the Cilento newspaper and my personal Instagram profile, to indicate 7 villages in the hinterland to tell me about. Once this first part is finished, I will draw the tour on the map and then I will start a series of contacts to identify who will accompany me to discover the villages. I will bring a sleeping bag with me but I am sure that the hospitality of my fellow citizens will not be long in coming and I will also find shelter for the night and some tables set to refresh myself and also to tell about the culinary tradition".
