Villammare Festival Film&Friends 2022, the names of the winners.
The film festival “Villammare Festival Film&Friends” hosted by Daria Scapitta, organized by Patron Alessandro Cocorullo and under the artistic direction of Andrea Axel Nobile, ended with great success.
Many arrived in Piazza Portosalvo to applaud the super guests of this edition full of twists and turns. The jury led by Vince Tempera and the multifaceted Neapolitan actress and director Cinzia Mirabella.
During the evenings, prizes were awarded to this year's exceptional guests:
Ornella Muti – Icon of Italian Cinema
Maria Grazia Cucinotta – Best Actress with the film “The old man and the little girl”, the actress dedicated the prestigious award to “grandfather Carlo”, her recently deceased father-in-law, a moment of great emotion.
Pine Quartullo – Male Character of the Year Award
Raffaella DiCaprio – Revelation Actress
Corinne clery – Lifetime Achievement Award
Sebastiano Rizzo – Best film “The Old Man and the Little Girl” for the TTC – Tourism, Territory and Cinema section (award that goes to films that enhance the territory through cinema).
Gio Sada – Best Original Song for the film “L’amore non si sa” by Marcello di Noto.
The feature film jury composed of Vince Tempera, Susanne Franz and Fabio Re awarded the prizes to:
Best Film: THE APHIDE AND THE ANT by Mario Vitale. The film has faced a complicated story making it simple and natural with the help of photography, direction and screenplay. The main actors are very good.
Best Music: LOVE IS NOT KNOWN by Marcello di Noto. Underline the text and the scene with the songs and the soundtrack.
Best Screenplay: THE LITTLE HOLY ONE by Silvia Brunelli. The film marries two worlds, the sacred and the profane.
Best director: SINGULAR FEMALE film by 7 different directors dedicated to women Recovery of the 70s model of episodic films: the same theme from different eyes.
The winning shorts selected by Gaetano Bellotta (President), Cinzia Mirabella and Ahartmut Saam are: Work it class! by Pol Diggler in first place, Yallah! by Nayla Nassar in second place and Tiam by Mattia Azzarelli in third place.
With closed eyes by Alessandro Perrella Rotary Award.
Popular Jury Award for Shorts is “Dream” by Davide Vigore.
