More violence against traffic wardens of Anm in Naples. The latest episode in chronological order occurred on the evening of September 12 in via Giuseppina Guacci Nobile in Forcella.
As InterNapoli reports, the ANM auxiliary was at via Giuseppina Nobile together with two other colleagues to verify that the stopped vehicles were all equipped with scratch cards on the blue lines or in any case stopped in places designated for parking. This is an area of Forcella that is under heavy scrutiny by the police and traffic wardens due to the massive presence of illegal parking attendants who ask for the famous "offer at will" to allow them to avoid having problems parking cars and scooters.
A few minutes after the checks began, an illegal parking attendant, apparently an old acquaintance of the area along with other members of his family, approached the employee of the Azienda Napoletana Mobilità and began to inveigh against her and to contest her actions as a public official legitimised by article 12 bis of the highway code.

The man in fact violently hit the Anm traffic warden on the nose before disappearing with the aim of not being identified. The woman, in a state of obvious shock, was helped by the two colleagues involved with her in the checks and a manager of the Neapolitan Mobilita Company, which as is known also manages public transport in the city of Naples.
Visibly suffering, the traffic assistant was accompanied by the same colleagues to the Ospedale del Mare for a check-up. The doctors found a maxillofacial trauma and gave a 5-day prognosis before discharging her, thus allowing her to return home.
“We express our solidarity with the assaulted ANM employee and wish her a speedy recovery. We ask that the perpetrator of this vile and ignoble attack be tracked down and arrested as soon as possible. These individuals have taken over entire areas, militarily occupying those strategic areas such as those near hospitals, by-night clubs, the stadium, they do a roaring trade and go to fill the clans' coffers and dictate their law with threats and violence. They must be stopped at all costs. It's time to use the iron fist as we have been asking for a long time. Far from poor Christians and good fathers of families, these are real violent and dangerous criminals”- stated the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli who has always fought a bitter battle against the phenomenon of illegal parking attendants.
