The 2022 Festival dell'Erranza in Piedimonte Matese, a municipality in the province of Caserta, is packed with events, aiming to inspire reflection on the themes of Departure and Restanza, concepts that both establish a reciprocal relationship with wandering: "Even the 'restanza' is an extreme form of travelling, - underlined the artistic director Roberto Perrotti - it is turning one's thoughts towards new projects".

Mahmoud Hasan Al-Jasim, Greta Sala, Alessia Guerriero, Paolo Miggiano, Elisa Ruotolo, Gianni Vernetti, Massimo Bignardi, Annalisa Mazzola, Vito Teti, Aldo Bonomi, Antonella Tarpino, Marco Revelli, Domenico Ciruzzi, Mariolina Venezia, Adriana Valerio are some of the guests who over the course of the two days are called to measure themselves with the key words of this tenth edition of the cultural event scheduled for 16 and 17 September 2022.

The schedule of meetings—which will be held in the Monumental Complex of San Tommaso d'Aquino (Largo San Domenico), with free admission—begins on Friday the 16th at 17:30 PM with publisher Paolo Miggiano in conversation with Greta Sala, translator of "Mariam's Journey" by Syrian dissident writer Mahmoud Hasan al-Jasim (readings by Alessia Guerriero); and continues at 18.15:19 PM with Rosaria Strippoli and Elisa Ruotolo (That Place Forbidden to Me); at 19.45 PM with Gianni Vernetti on the "Geography of Dissent"; and at XNUMX:XNUMX PM with Annalisa Mazzola and Massimo Bignardi on "The City of Atlantis."

On Saturday the 17th, at 17:18.15 PM, the documentary film by Luca Calvetta and Massimiliano Curcio, "The Interior Country: A Journey Within Each of Us, a Pilgrimage Through Abandoned Villages Through the Work of Anthropologist Vito Teti," opens the event. The Feltrinelli bookstore in Caserta, located at Corso Trieste 156/XNUMX, is participating in the Festival by presenting and managing its book counter. La Guardiense, one of Italy's largest agricultural cooperatives, will present a project, in collaboration with the Festival dell'Erranza, showcasing local excellence.
