EXAM METHODS
The exam will consist of a theoretical and practical written test consisting of open-ended questions and a practical technical question on the exam subjects; an oral exam covering the exam subjects. The aptitude test also requires knowledge of one foreign language, chosen between French and English.
The exam subjects will be the following: Highway Code, Highway Code enforcement regulation, consolidated text of public safety laws, elements of administrative law, local government organization, elements of criminal law, elements of criminal procedure, elements of civil procedure, local toponymy, Amalfi history and culture, foreign language to be chosen between French and English. Each test will be considered passed with a minimum score of 21/30.
If more than 30 applications are received, a pre-selection test will be held, granting access to the exam to the top 25 applicants with the highest pre-selection scores, plus any ties. The score obtained in the pre-selection quiz will be used exclusively for admission to the competition but will not be included in the ranking, which will be drawn up solely based on the scores obtained by each candidate in the two exams and the evaluation of their qualifications.
The final merit ranking will be drawn up based on the scores obtained in the two exams, plus the scores of the evaluated qualifications, and in accordance, in the event of equal merit, with the provisions of Article 136 of the Municipal Regulations.
