It was established in Napoli ITS “Casa Campania”. The Foundation that will take care of the specialized training of young graduates and postgraduates is composed of 58 public and private organizations: schools, trade associations, specialized training institutions, public bodies and construction companies located throughout the region.
The mandate entrusted to the institution is the organization of a cycle of courses for the training of technicians in the construction sector, aiming to "bend" their specialization, defining the figures and skills most useful to the current job market, to guide construction site activities.
The foundation is funded by the Campania Region and represents a “school of excellence with high technological specialization” that will allow the achievement of a nationally recognized higher technical diploma.
“The ITS Academies represent the natural outlet to strengthen and expand the skills acquired during the school career and guarantee our young people stable and high-level professional employment” underlines Alessandra Guida, director of the “Della Porta – Porzio” Technical Institute, leader of the group constituting the foundation.
“The goal is to ensure that the young people selected have a more than reasonable certainty of future employment,” explains Raffaele Archivolti, president of ITS Casa Campania. “I thank the president of the Region, Vincenzo De Luca, and the councilor for youth policies, Lucia Fortini, because they have invested once again in young people, given that the professional figures that will be trained with the ITS respond to specific requests from the world of work, thanks also to the direct participation of companies in drafting the programs and training paths.”
Antonio Pezone, president of ANCE Caserta, highlights that “ITS Academies are a highly effective tool and respond to the increasingly specific needs that come from the world of work. We strongly believe in collaboration between the public and private sectors and this management model can be the winning card to allow young people to acquire sectoral and quality skills, which will represent a concrete possibility of employment. We are convinced that the synergy between school and the business world is the determining factor for creating a new training system, modern and in step with the changes that are affecting the labor market”.
