Last night, shortly before the start of the Napoli-Liverpool football match, two English fans in an evidently alcoholic state showed up at the gates of the Curva A sector of the Diego Armando Maradona stadium, demanding access even though they had a ticket for the away sector.
When the stewards refused, the two began to swear at them and at the Carabinieri who immediately intervened.
Accompanied by State Police personnel at the San Paolo Police Station, they behaved violently towards the personnel present, physically attacking two police officers who intervened to calm them down and damaging a printer until, not without difficulty, they were stopped.

The two, aged 52 and 54, were arrested for injury, resisting a public official and aggravated damage to public administration property.
Again, during the pre-filtering services for access to the stadium, 15 people, aged between 18 and 45, were fined for possession of narcotics and violation of the regulations for use of the sports facility.
Finally, during checks around the sports facility, aimed at combating illegal parking and illegal loitering, local police officers and operators fined a total of 10 illegal parking attendants operating in the vicinity of the stadium, towed away 62 vehicles parked illegally, and seized 15 items.
