Benevento: fraudulent bankruptcy, entrepreneur from San Giorgio del Sannio investigated.
A businessman from San Giorgio del Sannio is under investigation by the Benevento Prosecutor's Office for fraudulent bankruptcy. This morning, the financial police of the Benevento Provincial Command executed the preliminary investigations judge's order, which includes precautionary measures such as a one-year ban from carrying out business activities, holding executive positions, and reporting to the judicial police.
The investigations arose from the bankruptcy, declared by the Court of Benevento with a ruling issued in January 2021, of a company based in San Giorgio del Sannio and operating in the metal carpentry sector, with ascertained liabilities of approximately 1,1 million euros.

The investigations also provided serious evidence regarding the inadequacy of the accounting records submitted to the bankruptcy trusteeship, as well as the implementation of further corporate spin-offs in favor of other companies managed by the same individuals and operating within the same industrial sector, with significant prejudice to the creditors of the bankrupt company.
