The Flying Squad of the Naples Police Headquarters has executed an order for the application of precautionary custody in prison, issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Naples, at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against Ciro Contini as he is seriously suspected of the crimes of murder, illegal possession and carrying of weapons.
The investigations carried out by the State Police, coordinated by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate at the Court of Naples, have documented the violent conflict between the SIBILLO clan and the BUONERBA/MAZZARELLA clan aimed at acquiring supremacy and control of illicit business in the urban area of Forcella, Maddalena, Via dei Tribunali and, more generally, in the area of I Decumani.
The precautionary order in question crystallizes, in particular, the associative dynamics that led, first, to the violent attack on the young man with no criminal record GALLETTA Luigi and, after just three days, to his murder, which occurred on July 31, 2015, inside the mechanical workshop where he worked.

In fact, according to the reconstruction of the GIP, carried out above all through the examination of the statements of the collaborators of justice and the findings of an interceptive nature, the murderous ambush against GALLETTA is to be placed in the context of the ongoing conflict between the SIBILLO clan, in its new apical composition, and the BUONERBA/MAZZARELLA clan.
In light of this evidentiary evidence, in fact, it has been ascertained that the brutal crime, committed by members of the SIBILLO clan, was caused by the victim's simple refusal, motivated by his total lack of involvement in the Camorra context, to provide information useful for tracking down his cousin, CRISCUOLO Luigi, who had sided with the opposing BUONERBA/MAZZARELLA group.
In this regard, it should be remembered that the perpetrator NAPOLETANO Antonio, who was a minor at the time of the crime, has already been convicted for this murder.
