Pomigliano D'Arco. Camorra & funeral home business. Five impediment measures issued. The Government Palace of Naples has banned five funeral home companies with registered offices in Pomigliano and one in Casalnuovo due to Camorra infiltration.

According to the prefect Claudio Palomba, who signed the impediment measure against the companies Funeral Transport Group Foria srl, Funeral Transport Foria Concetta srls, Padre Pio Funeral Agency andCharon Agency srl., the same ones subject to the provision subsequently certified by the Anti-Mafia office of the prefecture, would have been conditioned by the Foria clan of Pomigliano.

The Municipality of Pomigliano, after the official communication, proceeded to revoke all the authorizations necessary to carry out the service by the four local funeral companies while the municipal police, led by Commander Luigi Maiello, has carried out the measures of chiusura.

This is an operation resulting from the activities of the information unit of the Carabinieri of Castello di Cisterna and the GIA (Inter-Force Anti-Mafia Group). An activity that for some years had also been reported by the municipal police who had already subjected the hearses used, the personnel and the agencies themselves to investigations through investigative information activities.
