Camorra, clan salaries paid with gambling and drugs, Casalesi sentenced. The sentences for the leaders of the organization including Walter Schiavone son of Sandokan.

Only the top brass were hit, the others acquitted. The trial over the slot machine and gambling operations run by the Casalesi Schiavone and Venosa gangs thus concluded. The judges sentenced Raffaele Venosa, a collaborator with justice, to 15 years; Carmine Micillo to 15 years for drugs; and Walter Schiavone, son of Sandokan, to 3 years and 8 months for receiving stolen goods in connection with the wages paid to his father. However, the latter was acquitted.

Acquittal, in addition to Francesco Schiavone, also for Raffaele Diana, Salvatore De Falco, Michele D'Angiolella, Michele De Cicco, Giovanni Gabriele and Giuseppe Navarra.
