As reported by a citizen to the Regional Councillor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli, in via Alfonso D'Aragona in Napoli there would be an excavation, carried out some time ago, for work on the Metro line 2 without the hole being closed. Now that hole becomes a sort of landfill.
“This is the excavation they made when they drilled into the metro line 2.

The citizen's report refers to the construction site above the Line 2 metro tunnel, which was placed under seizure last April after a high-voltage cable was cut by a surface drill that apparently broke through the roof of the metro tunnel.
"We forwarded the residents' report to the municipal offices to find out why the construction site has been abandoned and whether the investigation is ongoing or completed. In any case, we need to expedite the process because that excavation can't remain like this forever, having now also become a landfill," Borrelli stated.
