Casandrino and Grumo Nevano, deposits with asbestos and hazardous waste discovered.
A wide-ranging operation for the Carabinieri of the Caivano company who, together with colleagues from the Naples forestry station, have combed various areas of Grumo Nevano and Casandrino with the aim of combating environmental crimes.
During the operations, the military identified several sites containing hazardous waste.

In Casandrino – in via Melitiello – textile waste and abandoned furniture were found while in Grumo Nevano – in a dirt road of via lungamento San Domenico – several areas were discovered in which construction waste, textile waste and asbestos had been abandoned.
The areas have been made safe and reported to the competent authorities for remediation.
Also in Casandrino, a woman with no criminal record who lives in the Roma camp in Giugliano in Campania was reported for illegal waste disposal. The woman, a 40-year-old, was caught while transporting various iron materials in her car.
The woman also received traffic fines since the vehicle was uninsured and she had never had a driving license. The car was seized.
