This morning, the Caserta State Police executed an order issued by the investigating judge of the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Court, placing CP, a 69-year-old sports doctor from the Caserta hinterland, under house arrest. He is suspected of aggravated sexual assault against minors.
The measure was adopted following an investigation, coordinated by this Prosecutor's Office and conducted by the Caserta Flying Squad, which allowed for the collection of multiple pieces of evidence, without prejudice to the presumption of innocence until the final sentence, against CP.
During visits to his office by underage girls to obtain certificates of good health for competitive sports, the man allegedly committed sexual abuse, consisting of repeated groping of the breasts, buttocks, and genitals.

In particular, during the investigation, at least five episodes of sexual violence perpetrated against as many victims between October and December 2021 were reconstructed.
This morning, CP was located by the Caserta State Police inside his home and placed under precautionary measures. During the search of his home and office, computer media were seized, which will be analyzed as the investigation continues.
