Casoria. New storm at the cemetery: damages for one million euros, the council annuls the settlement documents between the consortium and the municipality of arzano. The Public Prosecutor's Office and the Court of Auditors are at work. The past management of the cemetery consortium between the municipalities of Casoria, Arzano and Casavatore seems to be a real cesspool. Yesterday, the new board of directors, after having examined the documents on the agenda, requested, after verification of the legitimacy, the cancellation of the agreement in self-defense.
A new damage of over one million euros that saw in 2014, despite a final conviction by the municipality of Arzano for unpaid fees from 2000 to 2008 to the Consortium and a deliberative action by the former administration dissolved for mafia in 2015 and the proposing party in the figure of the director at the time and the president, a transaction was signed that not only reduced the amount by "exempting" it from penalties, legal fees and interest, but even deducting the compensation from the fee, thus effectively causing yet another financial loss on a par with that of the famous hypogeum "ceded" by a private company to the consortium in exchange for the cancellation of the debt despite the fact that it was already owned by the cemetery.
But the management of the concessions of some priceless noble chapels is also causing tremors.

The council also resolved to verify the possible responsibilities of those who in the last ten years (including from 2013 to 2017) would have had the task of recovering the sums owed by users for votive lights, condominiums and cemetery services also in this case producing damages for approximately 6 million euros. An unprecedented action to restore legality despite the gathering of dark clouds and not so veiled attempts to stop the reporting activities.
