Casoria. Carabinieri's big hit against drug lords: an arrest worth more than 2 million euros. 231 kilos of hashish seized, a man with no criminal record arrested
A tropical content for a man who appeared to be a lover of sports or at least bike mechanics. In reality we are talking about something completely different and when the Carabinieri stopped him there was very little to justify in front of those 231 kilos of hashish ready for sale.
A 37-year-old with no criminal record from Nocera ended up in handcuffs for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing. The Carabinieri stopped him in Casoria at the highway junction and when he opened the window the smell of mothballs was unbearable.
In the car, 7 sealed jute packages and that increasingly strong smell, probably a trick to "disarm" any investigative instincts.
