Beetlefilm: Derviso will be the director of 'Napulione' and 'Rachel'
The prestigious film company, within the framework of the Venice Film Festival, entrusts the two international projects to the Neapolitan director
Alessandro Derviso will be the director of 'Napulione', a crime comedy set in Naples, story by Alessandro Derviso and screenplay by Pierfrancesco Fiorenza and Alessandro Derviso, and of 'Rachel', an international horror thriller, story by Pierfrancesco Fiorenza, screenplay by Pierfrancesco Fiorenza and Alessandro Derviso.

The agreement between Pierfrancesco Fiorenza's Beetlefilm, which boasts over 120 Italian and international productions, and Andrea Lorusso Caputi, RAI Director of TV Production from 1986 to 2015, and the Neapolitan director was reached in the evocative setting of the Venice Film Festival.
Pierfrancesco Fiorenza has a number of prestigious collaborations under his belt. In 2018, he produced "All You Ever Wished For," by American screenwriter Barry Morrow, who won an Oscar for "Rain Man," among other works; also in 2018, the American film "Across the River and Into the Trees," directed by Paula Ortiz; and in 2008, "Carmel," directed by Amos Gitai.
