Elections 202, M5S boom in Naples and province. The party led by Giuseppe Conte has collected the victory in all the single-member constituencies, in the city and in the province: 11 single-member constituencies, 7 in the Chamber and 4 in the Senate.
The rest of the region, however, has a different outlook, with the center-right already assured of victory in the ten single-member constituencies. In Naples, the most anticipated contest, the Naples-Fuorigrotta constituency for the Chamber of Deputies, was won by former minister Sergio Costa with 10% of the vote, beating Luigi Di Maio, who remained at 39,72% with the center-left coalition, and thus leaving him out of Parliament.
Center-right candidate Mariarosaria Rossi stopped at 24,41%, while former Southern Italy minister Mara Carfagna, supported by Azione, did not go beyond 7,10%.
