I have faced this difficult election campaign with passion, energy, and determination. Despite the enormous efforts made, together with many friends and administrators whom I thank from the bottom of my heart, we have not been able to stem the Meloni avalanche and the 5 Star Movement hurricane.

So says Sandra Lonardo Mastella, an unsuccessful candidate for the Chamber of Deputies with "Mastella Noi di Centro Europeisti" in the Benevento-Caserta single-member constituency.

Difficult days and challenges await her, I hope she can marshal all her energy to address the many problems afflicting our country. We did our part openly, with courage and generosity. We played a difficult game." - adds - with a sense of responsibility and respect for our opponents. We managed to hold our own against a center-right that had a clear lead from the start and a M5S that was coming back. Analyzing the vote with serenity, we can consider our result extremely flattering, especially in the city of Benevento."
