Genny Di Virgilio, master nativity scene maker and owner of the eponymous workshop on Via San Gregorio Armeno, the "street of nativity scenes" in the heart of Naples' old town, has created a figurine depicting Elizabeth wearing a yellow dress and hat, a handbag in her left hand and a walking stick in her right.

The figurine was placed next to that of Prince Philip, her husband of 74 years, who died in April 2021 at the age of 99.

"This is a tribute I wanted to pay to Queen Elizabeth, a very important figure who has shaped the world for so many years. I wish her a safe journey and that she may soon be reunited with her recently deceased Prince Philip.", comments Di Virgilio.
