Mergellina Funicular, Sunday runs resumed
The Mergellina Funicular has resumed service on Sundays, and no closures are expected at intermediate stops, except in exceptional circumstances. Regarding the Central Funicular, it will remain closed on September 7th only and until 15:8 PM on September XNUMXth for cable replacement to maintain the highest safety standards. This was announced by Naples City Councilor Edoardo Cosenza. Road transport is also being improved.
The fleet is currently being "rejuvenated" to provide vehicles less than five years old: 5 new buses will arrive from the Campania Region by spring 70, but more importantly, with PNRR funds, the system will be expanded with 2023 electric vehicles of various sizes, as part of the "Full Green" project, developed by ANM in collaboration with the Municipality of Naples.

Regarding road transport, changes in operation are underway that concern strategic urban areas with particular attention to the needs that emerged during meetings with citizens in peripheral areas.
