European Heritage Days, a Mozart matinée with the Caserta Chamber Orchestra and flautist Alberto Navarra in the Vanvitellian site.
The music of the flute will be the protagonist of the last weekend of September. On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, Sunday 25 September 2022 at 11.15:2022 am, the Palatine Chapel of the Royal Palace of Caserta will host the preview of the Autumn Musical XNUMX festival. The event is organized as part of the participatory valorization plan of the Vanvitellian Site.
The program includes a brilliant Mozart matinée with the Caserta Chamber Orchestra conducted by Antonino Cascio and the participation of the flautist Alberto Navarra, winner of the first prize at the 2002 edition of the prestigious international flute competition, the “Carl Nielsen” in Odense.
Pieces by Mozart will be performed: the Salzburg Symphony KV 138 and a triptych for flute and orchestra: the Andante in C major KV 315, the Rondo in D major KV 184 and the Concerto in D major KV 314.
The Mozart matinée at the Reggia is included in the cost of the entrance ticket to the Vanvitelli Complex or season ticket.

As anticipated, the entire weekend will be dedicated to flute music with performances by Navarra and the Caserta Chamber Orchestra. The Mozart concert, in fact, will already be proposed on Saturday 24 September at 20.00:XNUMX pm at the Church of the Annunziata in Alvignano.
The show is free to enter.
Also on Friday 23 September, at 18.00:XNUMX, Alberto Navarra will hold a recital at the Archaeological Museum of Teano. The flautist will perform, among others, pieces by Debussy, Bach and Stamitz.

Born in Mondovì, flutist Alberto Navarra is a member of the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic, where he studies and performs at the most prestigious festivals. In 2022, he won the Carl Nielsen International Flute Competition in Odense, Denmark, adding to his already prestigious list of awards. He has collaborated with various orchestras and ensembles, including the Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice and the Milan Philharmonic. In 2023, he will record a solo CD with the Odense Symphony Orchestra for Orchid Classics.
The Caserta Chamber Orchestra has performed concerts in Italy and abroad and has received flattering praise. The founder and director of the Orchestra is Antonino Cascio. With the Caserta Chamber Orchestra, with which he mainly performs concerts, he has collaborated with well-known soloists, has participated in important festivals and concert seasons in Italy and abroad and has proposed programs linked to his research activity. He has collaborated with other orchestras, including the Prague Collegium, the Orchestra of the National Theater and Conservatory of Prague, the Gustav Mahler Ensemble Wien. He is the artistic director of the Autunno Musicale of Caserta and a teacher at the Conservatory of Music San Pietro a Majella in Naples.
