Anti-drug blitz for the Carabinieri of the operational section of the Pozzuoli company who last night searched the Giugliano home of Amelia Sorino, a 68-year-old local already known to the police.
The quantity of drugs found and seized was significant: 2 kilos of hashish divided into doses and blocks, 300 grams of marijuana ready for sale and 125 grams of cocaine.

During the operations, the military also found and seized several bags, some cellophane and a vacuum machine presumably used to package the drug.
Not just drugs, but also weapons. The Carabinieri found and seized a Canik 9x21 semi-automatic pistol, stolen a year ago in the province of Bologna, and 64 9mm rounds of ammunition from the home used by the woman.
The 68-year-old was arrested and will have to answer for the crimes of illicit production, trafficking and possession of narcotic or psychotropic substances, illegal possession of weapons and receiving stolen goods.
The seized weapon will be subjected to ballistic tests to verify its possible use in bloody acts or other crimes.
