The Castle Revealed, European Heritage Days and free guided tours. Special openings of the Hall of the Great Arch, the Main Bastion and the Church of the Savior.
On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September, the most attended cultural event in Europe returns: the European Heritage Days (EHD).
During the two days, guided tours, special initiatives and extraordinary openings will be organized in museums and places of Italian culture on the theme: “Sustainable cultural heritage: a legacy for the future”.
This year, the Regional Secretariat of the Ministry of Culture for Campania is once again participating in the GEP, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the history, myths, and architecture of Castel dell'Ovo, a site of extraordinary historical, artistic, and landscape significance.
The Regional Secretariat of Campania, in collaboration with the Italian Castle Institute - Campania section, also proposes further events, foreseen by the 2022 Valorization Plan.
The opportunity will be offered to participate in guided tours, to travel the long history of the castle and its transformations by accessing, exceptionally, some spaces usually excluded from visits, such as the Sala dell'Arco Maggiore, the Bastione del Principale and the Church of the Savior.

All tours, with free admission, will start from the main entrance of the castle and will last 90 minutes.
Groups may consist of a maximum of 25 people.
