Crash on the state road in the province of Isernia: Neapolitan policeman dies, his son injured.
Vincenzo Autiero, a police officer from Mugnano who served for many years in the Falchi section of the Naples Flying Squad, died in a tragic car accident. The accident occurred on State Road 158, in the Colli a Volturno area, in the province of Isernia.
It appears he had gone for a relaxing Sunday in the area bordering the Alto Casertano area with his 33-year-old son (who was travelling on another motorbike and is also a police officer on duty at the Scampia police station), who was also involved in the accident and injured.

Shots fired overnight in Volla: 42-year-old man wounded in the foot, motive remains a mystery.
Vincenzo Autiero, 65 years old, known as 'o Mastone, had retired a few months earlier after a life spent in the State Police.
A life spent on two wheels even after his recent retirement. A passion that had brought him yesterday, together with his son, to spend a day on a motorbike between Molise and Abruzzo.
Around 20 pm, when they were on the road back to Naples, tragedy struck: the 65-year-old lost control of his motorbike at a hairpin bend, crashing into the guard rail. His son, who was following him a few metres away, also slipped on the asphalt made slippery by the rain.
Numerous messages of condolence are being posted on social media in these hours. Autiero 'o mastone was “History and legend of the Falcons section of the Naples Police Headquarters. Have a good trip…” it reads on a page dedicated to police officers.
