Yesterday morning, the officers of the Ischia Police Station received a report of a scam targeting an elderly person.
In particular, the scammer, pretending to be the nephew, had contacted the man by telephone announcing that, shortly, a courier would deliver a package to him upon payment of a sum of money.
The elderly man, having a hunch that it might be a scam, contacted his nephew, who immediately went to his house where he surprised a boy outside the house who then quickly walked away.
