Boom in enrollments at Suor Orsola, from Law to Restoration of Cultural Heritage: + 37% compared to last year.
Not just medicine. After the tests for health professions in recent days, now in Campania it is the turn of the entrance tests for many degree courses in the humanities area. There are over two thousand students who at the Suor Orsola Benincasa University alone are busy these days in the various entrance tests, all in person.
Until September 14, you can still register (free of charge) for the entrance tests for the three-year degree course in Business Economics, the first in Italy specifically dedicated to the Green Economy, the three-year degree course in Communication Sciences, the three-year degree course in Cognitive Psychology Sciences and Techniques and the master's degree course in Law, the only one with a restricted number of places in the South in the legal studies sector. And this is not the only peculiarity of the legal training offer of Suor Orsola which, as the director of the Department of Legal Sciences, Tommaso Frosini, explains, "is divided into four specializations that adapt to the new needs of law: public administration lawyer, corporate lawyer, lawyer for new technologies and a specific specialization for preparing for the competition for the judiciary already during the degree course".
The online booking procedure (www.unisob.na.it/iscrizioni) for the various entrance tests allows students to choose the day and time in which to take the test.
For these four degree courses that also intercept many of the new challenges foreseen by the PNRR (from the ecological to the digital transition) there is a real boom in enrollments. So far 37% more enrollees than last year. A figure in strong growth in which there are not only young people from the South who have chosen to invest in higher education in their territory but also the results of a process of globalization of quality academic education that Suor Orsola has been carrying out for years and which have seen among those enrolled in the entrance tests students coming not only from all over Italy (from Lombardy to Sicily) but also from all over the world (from India to Ukraine).
Over a thousand candidates for a future as teachers
On September 20th, with a single national date, there will be the entrance test for enrolment in the Master's Degree Course in Primary Education Sciences, directly qualifying for teaching in nursery and primary schools, for which Suor Orsola is also in first place in Italy this year in terms of number of places available (465).

The “School” for 20 restorers of cultural heritage
The last appointment with the entrance tests at Suor Orsola will be from October 4th to 6th for access to the Master's Degree Course in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage (registration open until October 2nd), the only one in Campania that directly qualifies for registration in the register of restorers. Twenty places are available divided into three different sections: restoration of frescoes and mural paintings, restoration of metals, restoration of works on canvas and wooden materials. A real school. From September 20th, free visits to the laboratories and exercises for the graphic tests required for admission to the degree course are also planned.
And it is certainly one of the degree courses that best sums up the 'trademark' of the Suor Orsola Benincasa University, as the president of the degree course, Pasquale Rossi, explains: “a direct educational relationship between students and teachers just like at school, training strongly oriented towards on-the-job practice and the achievement of a professional qualification, with registration in the register of restorers of the Ministry of Culture, immediately usable on the job market”.
